Adam Kidan is a graduate of The George Washington University (1986) and Brooklyn Law School (1989) where he received the American Jurisprudence Award. Adam practiced law as a partner in a NYC law firm. After leaving the practice to join a client, Mr. Kidan opened the 1-800-MATTRESS operation in the Washington D.C area. During his ownership of the mattress company, Adam also served as the co-chair of Greater DC Cares, Chair of the DC Chamber of Commerce PAC, co-chair of Mayor William's transition team, and on the boards of the Great Washington Urban League, the Washington Performing Arts Society and the Laurel Regional Hospital. D.C. Mayor Williams appointed Adam to serve on the Workforce Investment Council. He was also a member of the Washington DC Economic Club and served on the Board of Directors of several companies. Mr. Kidan became a member of the Princeton Club of NY in 1991.
